C_L_C Concert Series
Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 11:26AM Last night was a blast!!!
I played a show in my friend Chris's apartment to a whole bunch of extremely cool people in Boston. It was a concert experience unlike any I have had before, because while it's more formal than a whole bunch of friends hanging out playing guitar, it's cool to be in a mutual friend's apartment, with some people I knew and some I didn't. It adds a very cool level of personal-ness (right word?) to the experience that was very cool.
Thanks to those that came out. And thanks Chris!
New York, New York!!
Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:10AM I've just spent the last three days in New York visiting some sweet music companies. Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound is a great guy. Hearing the stories of all the albums he's done, (Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run' as his big start up) was exciting and inspiring.
Wynton Marsalis is one of the coolest cats I've ever met. And man, does he treat his friends well.
Charlie Walk at Epic Records is an open minded cat with some great ideas, not at all what I was expecting from a major label exec. Really open to new ideas and very cool.
The Knitting Factory is one of the coolest venues I've ever been to, I'll make sure to play a show on one of their stages sometime.
These are just some of the places we went. Besides a perilous drive up here, getting harrassed by subway cops for jumping the barrier, spending way too much money on food, and getting stuck in an elevator, I'd say it all went pretty smooth. Actually, it all went great.
The bads aren't that bad and only make the greats greater.
I love New York.
Acorn Street Art
Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 11:58AM Last night I went to a beautiful art show in Beacon Hill in Boston. It was awesome to see the freeness and trueness of creative expression manifest itself and be celebrated so openly. Great people, beautiful art, beautiful music. Check it out...

I'm just setting it all up though and trying my hand (for the first time I might add) at website building.........so bare with me. Content to feast your eyes, ears, and souls upon will be up soon.
Cheers...
